Beautiful stay in Port Fairy

This large and beautifully positioned house made our stay in Port Fairy very special. The views over the ocean from the upstairs lounge and balcony were second to none. Lovely walks along the beach and into town. We like to cook and the kitchen was big and practical... a great fridge, cook top microwave and outside BBQ, lots of storage space and all the utensils we needed meant that prepare big and interesting meals was easy. Hot showers cosy warmth ...all perfect

Wonderful stay at Waters Edge

We loved our stay at Waters Edge. The views out over the water and beach were sensational. Our bed was comfortable and warm as was the lounge/dining area. The kitchen was spacious and had absolutely everything we needed for cooking our food. We could easily walk into town.In addition, a path led from the back of the house, straight onto the beach (for a morning walk). We would happily reccommend Waters Edge. It was comfortable, clean, well equipped and the location superb.

A wonderful position on East Beach, we love it

Waters Edge, we have stayed here over many years. A beautiful location, sadly the owners don't appreciate the place and have let the property get very tired. The property managers Hearn's do a great job. It was all very, very clean. The electric blankets didn't work, no bedside lamps, the external mats are ordinary, dog s**t on the lawn??? . It is a great vintage residence, we love it but the owners need a kick up the bum. The agents do a fantastic job. It is my Port Fairy favourite. Thanks AA

Thank you for your review Andrew, we are glad to hear that on the whole you enjoyed your stay. I have been in communication with the owners regarding your feedback and we are addressing all of the points you have raised- including purchasing new items. In relation to the animal faeces, this is not listed as a pet friendly property and therefore the access from the beach or neighboring properties is out of our control, we will keep an eye out in the future. We hope to welcome you back again to enjoy our new updates.

Disappointing

The driveway and gardens were so very overgrown. The driveway was UNSAFE with branches strewn across the whole driveway. There was NO remote control for the TV. Outdoor furniture had not been cleaned.

Windows filthy House full of cobwebs Window blinds either coated in dust or broken Insufficient lighting in kitchen to cook when dark Batteries dead in TV remote Light switch in bathroom needs replacing as mechs not working Access to beach overgrown with branches Heard every single noise from the upstairs accommodation No property identification number at street level
